19.8. Energetic Architectures: mapping knowledge across the field w/ Anthea Caddy
Workshop

ENG

In this site-specific workshop, Anthea Caddy explores how sound reveals the hidden structures of a landscape. Through collective walking, attentive listening, and sound projection, participants will investigate how places absorb, transmit, and transform sonic energy. Rather than treating sound as a composition alone, the workshop approaches it as a tool for reading space - uncovering relationships between architecture, infrastructure, environment, and perception. An artist, researcher, and composer working across sound, performance, and installation, Anthea Caddy investigates listening as a spatial and embodied practice. Her internationally presented work combines field research, experimental sound, and site-responsive performance, creating new ways of understanding landscapes through movement, technology, and attentive listening.

CZ

DE
