The first week of 𝙎𝙋𝘼𝙏𝙄𝘼𝙇 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙖𝙗 symposium will end with a lecture by Martin Nitsche.

𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣 𝙉𝙞𝙩𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙚 serves as the Chair of the Department of Contemporary Continental Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy of Czech Academy of sciences in Prague. His research focuses on 𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮, 𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙤𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮, 𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙧𝙩, aesthetics and phenomenology of religious experience.

The aim of the lecture is to 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙘 𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣. Martin will distinguish sonic immersion from a sheer mental diving into the 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚 of the listener. Sonic immersion will be interpreted as an 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧 in their 𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙚𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 and in this sense helps them to find their place.

This lecture is 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘, there's 𝙣𝙤 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 and it's 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙮!
